About the Arts Council of Westerville

Uptown Afternoon by David MyersThe mission of the Arts Council of Westerville is to connect the greater Westerville community to arts programs, schools, and artists. The Council provides resources for artists and teachers to improve their professions, including seminars and events. We also develop programs to support the arts in the schools and create education partnerships between the schools and the arts community.

To achieve these goals, the Council maintains a calendar of arts-related events on this Website.

The Arts Directory, available online on our Website, provides contact information for performing and visual arts programs and artists throughout the area. To submit an entry for consideration for the Directory, just click on "Add Me to the Directory" on the menu to your left, or click here.

In addition, a hotline is available where people may call and leave questions or requests for referrals to arts resources. Call 614-797-7111 and leave your request. An Arts Resource Center is located at Hanby Elementary School. The Center is a clearinghouse for information about arts activities and grant opportunities.

The Arts Council offers regular seminars to artists, teachers and arts organizations covering topics such as grants writing, marketing, artist and school collaborations, or unlocking creative potential. Check What's Happening for information.

The ACW is a non-profit all-voluntary organization. Donations are tax-deductible and are used to further the goals of the Council.
